YR2 'Gems' Party

The children in Year 2 have been working extremely hard since the beginning of the year to earn ‘gems’ for the Year 2 pot. To earn a gem, children could demonstrate using our school values during the day, produce some outstanding work and generally be a good role model.

We are thrilled to let you know that Year 2 have filled their pot to the brim and have earned themselves a reward afternoon. The Year 2 staff would like to throw a small party for the children on Thursday 4th April after lunch in the school hall from 1.30 to 3.00pm. This will include party games and a disco.

The children will be allowed to bring in party clothes to change into (in a named bag please) and are welcome to bring in a party snacks for themselves, due to allergies we ask children to not share. These may include crisps, biscuits and sweets. Please be mindful that we will not be able to use anything with nuts in.

We would like to take this opportunity to wish you and your family a happy and healthy Easter break and look forward to seeing you all upon our return on the 24th April.

Yours sincerely

Mrs Cookson, Mr Fuller, Ms Martin, Mr McMahon and Mrs Wood
