Why is attendance important? What happens if you don’t come to school?

Year 2
If you don’t come to school you loose attendance and miss lessons, you can’t learn anything.

Year 3
Because if we don’t come – you won’t have good attendance – Miss Bone comes to your house
AOC – important because if you don’t have good attendance you miss out on learning. Extend your learning. They don’t get paid if you do not have a good job. Really good for you.

If you miss days you wouldn’t get learning and then report card will be low. If we miss school parents get a fine.

Year 5
It is because if you don’t come you miss out on lessons. 5 flames for everybody in and then you get extra enrichment time. So important - 100% is very good - if you are sick and then you miss school and don’t know what happens. If really sick or broken bones you stay at home, but you can break an arm and come to school. It’s not good not to come.

Year 5
Parents could be fined, you need to learn to be in school, attendance flames.

Year 6
Miss out and don’t know what you are learning when you return. No reason then you will get a home visit from the FLO Team. You miss out on fun and FLDs. Parent will go to jail or get fined.

Miss lessons miss learning, harder the next lesson, keep track of %, rewards from FLO. Parents need to report absence, staff check home visits, registration for safety.
