Breakfast and After School Club

Our breakfast and after school club is provided by Sport4All (S4A).

Breakfast Club - Sunrisers

This opens at 7.30am and pupils benefit from a welcoming, relaxing and calm environment where they can start their day feeling relaxed and ready for school. The S4A staff take children to their classes to start the day on time.

For breakfast, the children are offered toast with a selection of jams, marmite or honey. We also offer breakfast cereal and fresh fruit, along with milk and water to drink.

After School Club - Sunsetters

The session begins after school and finishes at 6.00pm. Children are collected from their classes at the end of their school day and are escorted to the Sunsetters, which is held in the main hall. Each afternoon starts with an optional sporting activity, followed by a craft activity. There are a wide range of activities and games available, both inside and outside, to keep your child entertained if they do not want to do the sporting or craft activity. The S4A staff are aware that the children have had a busy day, so they ensure that alongside numerous, stimulating activities, children also have the opportunity to enjoy quieter play or read a book.

Children enjoy a light tea, for example; sandwiches, crumpets, tea cakes, toast, fresh fruit, cheese cubes, vegetable sticks, flapjacks, yoghurts, wraps, beans on toast, soup, cous cous and scones. Please note that the tea provided is intended to keep the children going until they have their main meal at home with you.
