At William Harding we celebrate all sporting achievements inside and outside of school and on this page you will see the successes of our wonderful students!
Florence in Year 1 has lots of out of school activities, ballet, tap, Stagecoach plus she has her own pony. Her pony Anna is a very cheeky pony which has meant Florence has had lots of falls and bumps. She’s never once given up and showed maturity beyond her years to build a special bond with Anna. Below are some pictures of their first show on their own together (Florence was the youngest in her class by years), and even after Anna kicking her and trying to munch on her she didn’t give up and achieved a fantastic placing!
Jaxon recently attended a kickboxing and karate tournament in Amsterdam at the Yokoso Dutch Open 2024 with his club ‘Respect Martial Arts Academy’. He did brilliantly and won 2 x golds, 2 x silver and 1 x bronze! The club came 22nd out of 120 clubs in the tournament which is a fantastic achievement!
Andzhela in Year 3 attends Castielli School of Dance and recently won 4 medals!
This is Josiah in Year 6 with the awards he received from his swimming club. They are for best under 10 in breast stroke, backstroke and also the overall best swimmer in club for his age. He has also been awarded honors, the highest grade, for primary grade ballet. He is very proud of his achievements, as are we!
Kaira in Year 4 has had lots of success with all the different disciplines she competes in including mountain biking, road racing, time trials and cyclo-cross. Securing 1st place in many of her events she is also a regional champion!
Another win and great performance from the girl's football team against a very strong Bedgrove team. Two first half goals and a great defensive display in the second half, saw the girls get a well-deserved 2-0 win.
Well done to everyone who played!
Luke in Year 3 plays lots of sports outside of school - cricket for Dinton CC U9’s, rugby for Aylesbury RFC U8’s and plays football for PTF. He is also the proud owner of a Reading FC season ticket!
